When we heard about 13-year-old Jaequan Faulkner’s Old Fashion Hot Dog Stand in Minneapolis, we knew what our lunch plans were for the day.
While other kids might be hanging out at the pool for the summer, Jaequan’s working hard selling hot dogs, Polish sausages, chips and soda from his front yard in Minneapolis. He’s saving money for clothes and shoes for the school year ahead. He even has plans to donate a portion of his proceeds to organizations that support gun violence awareness.
Having started as a small sausage stand ourselves, we love Jaequan’s entrepreneurial spirit, so that’s why we hooked him up with dozens of our small-batch sausages to sell to his customers.
Way to spark a movement, Jaequan!
